This apprenticeship would suit anyone interested in being a custodian of our rural outdoor scenery. Working to conserve the environment that makes the English countryside both distinctive and special, whilst taking care of our protected landscapes.

Working in the outdoors looking after a wide range of habitats and landscapes across the English countryside, working to become a custodian of our natural world.

Assessment Methods

You will be assessed throughout your course, including through online courses, learning journals to record practical skills, project work, and review visits with assessors.

Progression Options

Progression from this apprenticeship could lead to higher level qualifications in ecology, environmental science, countryside management and a host of roles with a variety of organisations such as the Environment Agency or National Trust.

Entry Requirements

You will need English and Maths GCSEs at grade 1 or above.
