Hands-on learning
Apprenticeships are perfect for people who want to learn through experience. Rather than in the classroom, most of your time will be spent working in industry, gaining practical experience and learning directly from professionals. And yes, you get paid to do it. We offer:
School Leavers
While many students aren’t quite ready for an apprenticeship at 16, if you are interested in earning whilst you learn, you can find relevant options by following the link below. You will always need a full-time study option back-up.
Adult Learners
Adult apprenticeships offer a unique, powerful pathway for learning, earning, and progressing, no matter your age or current experience level. If you’re interested in a career change, this could be the place to make your dreams a reality.
Land-based
A land-based apprenticeship is a fast-track into the UK’s most essential industries. You earn a real wage from day one, avoid student debt, and learn directly from experts in fields like agriculture, engineering, and environmental management.
Public Sector
Apprenticeships across the UK’s public sector – which includes the NHS, local councils, police, and fire services – are a core strategic investment for the government, driving economic stability, essential service delivery, and job creation.
Civil Service & Government
Become the change you want to see. Launch your career in the heart of government and start building the future, one decision at a time. Your work could involve high-impact policy, digital transformation, and crucial public projects.
Seeing is believing!
Join us at an Open Event to learn first-hand about our apprenticeship offerings. We run several throughout an academic year, usually in October, January, and June.
How it works
Find an employer
When you apply for an apprenticeship with us:
- Join our Talent Pool: gain early access to apprenticeship vacancies
- Apply for live roles: search our listings or the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) website

If you already have an employer, we’ll arrange a workplace visit to make sure the role fits your chosen apprenticeship programme.
Support every step of the way
When studying an apprenticeship with us, you’ll have access to:
Rated Outstanding by Ofsted
In our latest Ofsted inspection, our apprenticeship provision was rated Outstanding. Inspectors highlighted how:
“Apprentices develop an extensive range of skills and knowledge, with many extending and deepening specialist skills beyond the requirements of their qualifications.”
This recognition reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional training, whether you’re entering the NHS, a local business, a government department, or a global corporation.
Degree apprenticeships
For those looking to earn a university-level qualification without the tuition fees, Degree apprenticeships are an ideal pathway. Offered in partnership with employers and universities, these programmes let you work full-time while studying toward a Bachelor’s or even Master’s degree.
NHS & Government apprenticeships
We have long-standing relationships with NHS trusts, local authorities, and public sector bodies. We regularly advertise NHS and Government apprenticeships via our Talent Pool, giving you access to rewarding roles in healthcare, education, civil service, and beyond.
The Apprentice National Minimum Wage applies to those under 19, and those 19 and over in their first year.
After the first year, those 19 and over are entitled to the full National Minimum/Living Wage rate for their age.
However, many employers, especially in the Public Sector, pay significantly more than the minimum.
Apprenticeships have no set Level. They can range from Level 2 (Intermediate, equivalent to GCSEs) up to Level 7 (Master’s Degree).
Your starting level depends on your existing qualifications and the job role.
The duration varies, but they must last a minimum of 12 months, plus the final assessment.
Most programmes last between 18 months and 4 years, depending on the qualification level.
You must be 16 or over, live in England, and not currently be in full-time education.
You must also meet any specific entry requirements (e.g. specific GCSE grades).
